On the 10^th of May we travelled to northern Kumamoto to Kikuchi Ravine (菊池警告).

The ravine is a popular tourist spot in Kumamoto with complex gorges, abundant nature and natural spring water.

We arrived by bus after an hour drive into the countryside

Kikuchi Gorge is a protected area by the local government and therefore the air is fresher, with untouched nature and trees completely surrounding us.  

We were to put our feet in the water and relax as there wasn’t many other tourists there. 

Kikuchi was a really beautiful place, I'd like to go there again someday!
